Heating services across North Devon

Boiler repairs. Book this when the boiler shows a fault code, won't fire, or you've lost heating or hot water. It's a fixed price: £220 including VAT for all the labour, however long it takes. Parts are priced before they're fitted, and if you decide not to go ahead, you only pay £105 for the visit.

Boiler servicing. Once a year, to keep the boiler safe and the warranty valid. The standard service is £105 including VAT. The full service is £185 including VAT, with a new burner gasket and a full clean of the heat exchanger and burner.

Landlord gas safety checks. You let a house, a flat or a holiday cottage with gas appliances, and the certificate is due every 12 months. £105 including VAT for one appliance, with the certificate sent by email.

Central heating repairs. The boiler runs, but radiators stay cold, the pipes bang or the pressure keeps dropping. It's the same fixed price as a boiler repair: £220 including VAT for the labour, however long it takes, with parts priced before they're fitted.

Unvented cylinder service. You have a sealed hot-water cylinder fed straight from the mains. It needs a yearly service by a G3-qualified engineer. £105 including VAT, or £52 including VAT with a boiler service on the same visit.

Smart thermostats. You want to run the heating from your phone. I fit Hive, Tado and Nest, and there's no fixed price, so it's priced and agreed before I start.

I work on mains-gas boilers only, not oil or LPG.
