I also cover villages such as Bishop's Tawton, Chittlehampton, High Bickington, Beaford, Winkleigh, Berrynarbor, Barbrook, Saunton, Yelland and Bickington. If your village isn't listed, call or book online with your postcode and I'll confirm.
Mains gas only
Many farms and cottages in rural North Devon are off the gas network. I work on mains-gas boilers and the heating systems they run. I don't work on LPG boilers. For LPG, you need a Gas Safe engineer whose registration covers LPG work. For oil, look for an OFTEC-registered engineer.
Older properties and awkward systems
Old and awkward is normal work here, not a reason to be turned away. Back boilers, open-vented systems, system and regular boilers, microbore pipework, boilers sited where somebody put them forty years ago and nobody has fancied since. The one honest catch is parts: if a component isn't made any more, I'll tell you that before you spend anything.
Landlords with lets in more than one town can book them together. The published price applies to each property and its appliances, and I send a reminder before each certificate is due.

Every price includes VAT. Repairs are £220 for all the labour, however long it takes, and parts are priced before they're fitted. Decide not to go ahead, and you only pay £105 for the visit. If you're in North Devon, travel is included.
