Heating Engineer in Braunton & Surrounding Villages

Braunton lays claim to being the largest village in England, and with around 8,200 people living there it probably earns the title. It's also one of the closest areas I cover: about 10 minutes from Barnstaple, sometimes less if the traffic through Roundswell behaves itself.

I'm George Lane, a Gas Safe registered heating engineer with over 25 years of experience. Braunton comes up on my schedule regularly. Whether it's a boiler repair in the village centre or a landlord gas safety check at a holiday let out towards Saunton Sands, I know this part of North Devon well.

Braunton itself (the EX33 postcode that takes in Croyde, Georgeham, and Saunton too) is a mix of older village property and newer developments, with a good amount of second-home and holiday let traffic from the surfers and families drawn to the beaches at Croyde and Saunton. Permanent residents and holiday property owners want quite different things from a heating engineer, and I look after both.

A lot of my Braunton-area work is actually in these three villages and the farmhouses and cottages scattered between them. Croyde in particular has a dense concentration of holiday properties: surfing is the draw, and the lettings market stays strong all year.
